A house built by people who teach for free.
Aldar Al-Arabi began as a small circle of mentors sharing what they knew. It is now a community teaching language, Qur'an, culture and history to Arabs and friends of Arabic everywhere.

We started with one circle and a borrowed room.
The first sessions were a handful of friends reading together on a weekday evening. Word travelled the way it always does in a community — someone brought a cousin, someone brought a neighbour — and within a year the room was too small.
We kept one rule from those evenings: nobody pays to learn. Mentors give their time, donors cover the materials, and the door stays open to anyone willing to sit down and begin.
